After first meeting, Jonathan would leave small surprises for me to find. Little things… a flower, a note, a feather he found while walking.
For Valentine’s Day that year, he decided to learn to make truffles. I was given a single red rose and the most wonderful chocolates I had ever tasted. Needless to say, I ended up marrying him, and we’ve been making chocolates ever since.
